Case History

20-year old claimant hired our firm after being denied twice by Social Security for Disabled Adult Benefits. While still in his teens, he was diagnosed with Kleine Levin Syndrome, an extremely rare condition with no known cause or cure. At the initial application and first appeal, the State Agency failed to understand the condition, dismissing the claimant’s symptoms and denying the claim.

We provided medical information and symptom diaries which documented the inability to sustain any work. We successfully represented before an Administrative Law Judge and he was awarded benefits.
